Summary
Our team organizes User Stories into Epics.
How can I group by epics?
I want to see the board in a hierarchal fashion seeing how progress is going like this:
- Epic A
- User Story Apple
- User Story Banana
- SubTask 1 - DONE
- SubTask 2 - DONE
- SubTask 3 - IN PROGRESS
- Epic B
- User Story Kia
- SubTask 1 - IN PROGRESS
- SubTask 2 - TODO
- User Story Toyota
- SubTask 1 - DONE
- SubTask 2 - IN PROGRESS
- SubTask 3 - IN PROGRESS
- SubTask 4 - IN PROGRESS
- User Story Kia
Why should this be worked on?
- Jira supports group by epic, via their "swimlane" feature, thus Plane is not matching a competitor's feature set.
- Plane supports Epics, but it's odd that I cannot group by them, thus Epics seems incomplete within Plane.
