Current behavior

The problem to be solved
When I click Convert to Epic on an issue, it correctly becomes a new epic with the same identifier.

HOWEVER, it remains on the cycle board and it’s confusing. It’s confusing to click on the ilssue, and see the message “Work Item does not exist”. See picture.

Expectation Option A
What I expect is:

  1. The issue becomes an epic.
  2. The issues Sub items, are moved to the Cycle/Work Items.
  3. The (now) epic is removed from the board.

OR

Expectation Option B
4. The page named “Work Item does not exist”, has a button, “Acknowledge, and remove epic from Cycle”
5. THEN, the (now) epic is removed from the board.

Steps to reproduce
  1. Click Convert to Epic from right-side drawer, to convert an issue to an epic
  2. Observe the epic is in the cycle

That's weird.
