Summary
At my job, we use a lot of User Stories to group subtasks. We assign a module, a cycle, etc. to each User Story, and we would like the option for newly created subtasks to automatically inherit these properties from their parent User Story (with the ability to override them if needed).
This is similar to what SaudBako mentioned in a comment in Issue #889.
(Also, thanks for this great app!)
Why should this be worked on?
It will speed up development because most of the time, the subtasks share many properties with their parent User Story. That would also mean less data entry, more consistency, and less errors. Plus, I'd really like it.
