Summary

I would like to request a feature where users can receive email notifications for all tickets and their updates within Plane or even in their associated emails. This feature could help users stay updated on progress and changes without manually checking the platform for updates.

Specifically, I would like to see notifications for:

  • New tickets created.
  • Any updates or changes (status, assignee, comments) on tickets.
  • Ticket resolution or closure.
Why should this be worked on?

Email notifications would significantly improve user productivity and engagement by keeping everyone informed of important updates without manually checking the platform. This would reduce missed deadlines, enhance communication, and help teams stay on top of tasks. It also aligns with standard features in other project management tools, making Plane more user-friendly and efficient.
