The ability to set reservations on a source level - and preferably already at the quote level is so requested by the community: #3076 #2269 #2075 #1441 #3232

The link between product and source was suddenly lost when MSI added reservations

There are complaints and **many many comments about it scattered over the issue list**

It needs to be tackled and addressed

Start with the MSI Roadmap entry for milestone 4 and read the linked issues #3076, #2269, #2075, #1441, and #3232. Review the reported loss of the product–source link and the referenced private reservation module to understand the requested scope. Done would require an agreed implementation plan for source-level and quote-level reservations.
