Description

Hello all (I guess this is a "feature request", so putting here),
I am the creator of the custom MTG Star Trek set (https://www.reddit.com/r/custommagic/comments/bcnmz2/star_trek_mtg_full_intro_deck_sets_planetchase/), which is a fully-fleshed out >700 card set (including expansions), which relies on previous mechanics and contains a few of its own custom mechanics as well. The cards have been rendered in MSE and I am looking for a way to implement online play between my friends and, if there is interest, to make available for the wider community. I have been browsing the various online MTG-like program alternatives and XMage seems to be the way to go. I just did a major overhaul/update of the set this past year (perfect pandemic project), printed out new physical copies of the cards from the best-quality printer I've found (PrintStudio.ca), but still would like to implement online play, as the pandemic is still restricting in-person play.

Given that this set is very large, I do not mind doing all the grunt work myself of coding the card files and adjusting for the new mechanics (I am a bioinformatics scientist "in real life" and code is therefore not foreign to me; we also use GitHub for our work), but I was having difficulty determining locations of the code: if someone can point me in the right direction or if anyone wants to extract out the files I would have to adjust, then give a little help reintegrating them, that would be great! I was originally thinking the Star Wars set was going to be a stand-alone "plugin/files" that I could have copied off of to figure out the syntax, but it looks as though you have completely integrated them into the main XMage instance (I would be interested in working with you all as well, if you would like to do the same for ST).

I envision having a local install of XMage with only the ST set in it right now, as there is no need for other MTG cards in XMage for my purposes, and then being able to share this install with my co-testers and make it available as a package later on through you to the community if you'd like (or the other option of a full integration like SW above).

Please let me know if anyone can give me some help with this and/or if I total missed the location of the coding files/explanations of the syntax somewhere on the site/Wiki. Thanks!
