Feature request: better keyboard support?

I'd like to see better keyboard support in xmage, especially regarding choosing options from the dark translucent menus (e.g. when tapping a multiple ability permanent for something) it would be really handy to be either able to navigate the menu via arrow keys+enter or be able to choose selections with number keys (press 1 to select topmost, 2 for the one under it and so on) - or perhaps both ways.
