Description

Research direction

The request refers to Node.js child_process.exec() and execFile(); start by reading the ssh-exec public API and its existing exit-code and buffering behavior. No file or test is named, so first determine where the current execution interface is defined, then establish tests that show the convenience option matches the requested behavior.
