Description
The following fails to parse:
```
Werkzeug==1.0.1
wrapt==1.12.1
xmltodict==0.12.0
zipp==3.4.0
./pip_packages/dystillamodb
```
I can hack around the bug by doing this:
```
Werkzeug==1.0.1
wrapt==1.12.1
xmltodict==0.12.0
zipp==3.4.0
./pip_packages/dystillamodb # #egg=
```

Research direction
Reproduce the failure using the requirements text in the issue, first focusing on how local paths are parsed. Confirm the desired behavior for the path without the workaround, then add coverage showing that it parses successfully without the trailing comment.
