Description

Since MacVim 7.4, I have not been able to print to our Toshiba printer; it looks like MacVim is not embedding the necessary font information into the PDF it generates. I have tried using the pfn option to change the font (which does alter the appearance of the preview) and have tried different tricks for forcing Preview to embed font info, but so far have had no luck.

Is there a way to get MacVim to print properly, or is this a genuine bug in the app?

Thank you,
Jason

Research direction

Start by reproducing printing from MacVim 7.4 to PDF and compare output when using the pfn option. Inspect whether the generated PDF contains the required font information and verify the result with Preview and the Toshiba e-studio 657; done means the printer accepts the PDF without reporting "Invalidfont".
