UltrawideWindows and maximize

On my old system, Kubuntu 20.04 with plasma-desktop 5.18 and UltrawideWindows 4.0, I had ability to do following:
- maximize window
- then place window with UltrawideWindow shortcut (i.e. Ctrl-Meta-Numpad5)
- window would be placed to it's center position, properly sized (2560x1400), BUT:
Window stayed "maximized" (i.e. no rounded corners and not able to be resized with mouse-click on window border)

Now, i reinstalled my system, i am now on Debian 12, Plasma 5.27 and UltrawideWindows 4.2.
When i maximize window and then use UltrawideWinodws shortcut, window do restore and resize&move to (exact) position.

How can i bring old behaviour back?

Start by reproducing the reported shortcut behavior with UltrawideWindows 4.2 on Debian 12 and Plasma 5.27, then compare it with the described 4.0 behavior on Kubuntu 20.04. Investigate how maximizing and restoring are handled; done means the shortcut moves and resizes the window while it remains maximized and non-resizable, if that behavior is supported.
