Description
There are some gems for letting you know when you are running a migration that could cause problems. There are some private ones that have been built that I have used that are great. There are some open source gems for rails that also let you know if you are going to run a migration that could cause problems.

It might be nice to have an alternative in AVRAM.

Research direction
Start by reviewing AVRAM's existing migration support and the referenced safe-migrations and strong_migrations projects. The issue does not name files, tests, or specific dangerous migration cases, so the scope and completion criteria need to be defined before implementation can begin.
