Description

Problem

The ContentDB platform serves an international community and provides many languages.

However, while navigating on the website (https://content.luanti.org/), I noticed that the title Terms of Service at the end of the pages were not translated. The page itself is fully in English, no matter what language one chooses (at least for the ones I tested: čeština, Deutch, Español and French). Et the end are examples with the French version of the website.

Terms of Service is an important legal document, and users need to understand the rules, rights, and obligations they agree to when using the platform.

Solutions

To enable non-English speakers to understand the Terms of Service, it could be good to translate this document in all languages provided by the website.

Alternatives

As an alternative, if translation isn't possible for legal or technological reasons, perhaps a translated note at the top of the page could explain that the English version is the only one that is legally binding.

I don't know to what extent this is feasable or if there are legal requirements that I don't know, but maybe translating the title in addition to the note could be a good first step. I noticed this denotes from other sections at the end of the webpages.

Additional context

Research direction

Start by reviewing the Terms of Service page at https://content.luanti.org/terms/ and comparing it with the site's language behavior for čeština, Deutsch, Español, and French. Confirm with maintainers whether the goal is full translation, a translated legal-status note, or both; completion depends on that decision and the project's legal requirements.
