Description
Right now, we're just randomly generating objects and asserting as much as we can about their serialized forms. But we should create verifiable test vectors that will be more resilient to bugs in the underlying serialization frameworks.

Research direction
Start by locating the existing tests that randomly generate objects and check their serialized forms, then review how each object is represented by the serialization frameworks. Create fixed, independently verifiable vectors covering all objects and use them to check serialization and deserialization results; done means the vectors catch serialization regressions without relying only on random generation.
