Description

(This might have similar issue of my request of adding arrows to the IR plugins where might not be able to access this way but)
If possible, maybe any plugins that load files through drag and drop can be programmed to have the location where that item was drag and dropped from to set as the location that the plugins file picker window opens to. If possible maybe can have that item in the file pane highlighted with the cursor highlight automatically.
I had this idea before the addition of the file list in plugin GUI was added, which covers some of this, but still think this could be helpful. Feels like it is expected to open up to that files location.
Could help user if they then want to navigate up a level to its parent folder and select other items/folders from there.

`PLUGINS`
Sampler
Multi Sampler
Impulse Response
Impulse Reverb

Just an idea, if anyone is interested.
Thank You

Research direction

No files or tests are named. Start by reviewing the existing plugin GUI file list and the file picker behavior for the Sampler, Multi Sampler, Impulse Response, and Impulse Reverb plugins. Done would mean determining whether a drag-and-dropped item's source location can open the picker there and whether the item can be highlighted automatically.
