Description

Hello Lorena,

I had an error message. It said I should contact you through github about the error. The error is pretty self explanatory, but is there a specific environmental variable that I should check to make sure that the perl pdf api is installed other than $PATH?

Best,
-Rob

#Starting miRDeep2
Error: Perl PDF::API2 package not found
Check if the perl PDF::API2 package is correctly installed and all Pathes were set correctly.

If you used the install.pl script make sure that you started a complete new shell window after installation.
If this did not help please restart youer workstation.

Research direction

Start with the miRDeep2 startup output and the install.pl script mentioned in the report; investigate how the Perl PDF::API2 package is installed and discovered outside $PATH. Done means the reported command starts without the PDF::API2-not-found error, with the relevant environment setup documented.
