Research direction

The issue names compiler-rt and lists sanitizers, Scudo, XRay, and compiler primitives, but it does not identify files, tests, or an entry point. Start by reviewing how these compiler-rt components are organized in the repository and determine which RISC-V port scope is intended; done is not defined by the issue.
