### Description

Hello,

I'm looking into purchasing one of the OpenTitan FPGA boards and I was hoping to get more information about the two boards and some reasons to opt for the cw340 over the cw310 (w/ 410T). As far as I understand, the cw310's main limitation is that it may not be able to emulate earlgrey entirely (as of https://github.com/lowRISC/opentitan/issues/17166, that didn't sound like a big problem). Are there any other advantages to the cw340 I should take into consideration? For context, my goal is to emulate earlgrey (ideally entirely but okay with mostly), with an added peripheral in the future.

Thanks!

Research direction

Begin with the referenced issue #17166 and the stated cw310, cw340, and Earlgrey goals; the payload names no files or tests. A useful outcome would document the relevant board differences, Earlgrey emulation limitations, and implications for adding a peripheral.
