Description
FOSSA is a SaaS offering that allows license compliance analysis of Git repositories in their default branch and pull requests through GitHub Status Checks. It is free for open-source projects and supports multi-account management (i.e. Access to the dashboard can be granted to each Technical Steering Committee (TSC) member).
It is a tool that jas been tested in projects outside of LoopBack, and has proven to be valuable in identifying existing and new comflicting dependency licenses. It has also been [referenced by the OpenJS Foundation](https://github.com/openjs-foundation/cross-project-council/blob/1614d667e8b845e6dc05a01e92a5686b6cc55c43/project-resources/INFRASTRUCTURE_MENU.md#open-source-dependency-monitoring-fossa~).
