Description

Love this project! I have been using plexrequests for about a month now and it has streamlined my whole setup so much!

The one and only feature I could use that isn't here is to have the Digital and/or DVD release dates displayed in the request list along with (or even instead of) the theatrical date. For my setup, there is no point in really working on adding something to the library until it's out in digital or disc. Having the dates right there would save me the extra step of searching again on tmdb for each movie as I look for what to add.

Looking quickly through the code I can see you are using tmdb api and this stackoverflow post explains how to add those other release dates to the request:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/38162246/getting-release-dates-from-themoviedb-org-api-for-dvds

I know you are working on possibly porting to another framework/language in the near future so feature additions are probably not a priority, but if this is a quick add it would be AWESOME to see! Otherwise maybe it can be implemented in whatever rewrite comes down the line...

Research direction

Review the TMDB API integration and the request-list rendering to determine where release-date data is retrieved and displayed. Use the linked Stack Overflow guidance as a starting point, then verify that digital or DVD dates appear alongside or instead of the theatrical date in the request list.
