Description

What happened?

When in "command mode" the keys PgUp, PgDn, Home and End does work in the Journal (the continuously scrolling view), but not if one enters individual pages / journal day notes. It would be useful to have same behavior.

When in Edit mode and page, PgUp, PgDn works by scrolling page but not moving the cursor. I would expect cursor to move but that expectation may vary.

Many thanks

Reproduce the Bug

1 goto journal

  • try PgUp and PgDn
    2 goto an individual page
  • try PgUp and PgDn
Expected Behavior

Same behaviour in page and journal expected.

Research direction

Reproduce the behavior in Journal and in an individual page using PgUp, PgDn, Home, and End, then compare the keyboard handling for both views. Confirm the expected behavior in command mode and clarify whether Edit mode should move the cursor; done means the agreed navigation behavior is consistent across the two views.
