What Happened?

This is not a bug report but a feature request.

Please add a Master On/Off network switch. One with no API access from plugins, so that it cannot change by "accident". Sometimes you want to prevent Internet access and you don't want or can't use external Sandboxing applications.

It would be very useful to be able to easily Deny All internet access with a simple switch. Preferably easily accessible on the main UI and with a clear visual indication to the user if the network is On or Off. I think Mozilla Thunderbird have something like this.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are identified. Start by locating the main UI and any existing network-access controls, then determine how a master switch could deny all internet access while remaining unavailable to plugins. Done means a clearly visible On/Off control reliably blocks or permits network access and cannot be changed through the plugin API.
