Description
GeoJson ingest type inference does not work with explicit nulls
i.e. having "foo": null vs just not having an entry or having an empty string for the value.
This issue is unverified, we should verify it (i.e. write a failing unit test) before fixing.

Research direction
Locate the GeoJson ingest type-inference entry point and its unit tests. First add a failing test comparing an explicit null with an absent field and an empty-string value, then verify the expected distinction and run the relevant ingest test suite; done means the regression is reproduced and the test passes after the fix.
