Research direction

Read the AWS Filter and Pattern Syntax documentation linked in the issue, then locate the pattern matcher implementation and its existing tests in the repository. Confirm how attribute filters are parsed and determine the expected behavior for `{ $.* = 1 }`; done means wildcard matching works across attributes without breaking current filters.
