Description
Hi,
I'm using UMAP on a time-series data for ML purpose. Specifically, I'm training a reducer on the training data, and then transform the test data into the trained space. My question is, does reducer use future data (i.e., x_{>t}) during transforming sample x_t ?
Many thanks!

Research direction
The issue does not identify a file, test, or entry point. Start by locating the UMAP reducer's transform documentation and implementation, then verify whether transforming a sample uses observations after that sample. Done means documenting the behavior clearly for time-series use, with a relevant test or example if the project supports one.
