UMAP optimizes the cross-entropy between the high dimensional data and embedding. How to obtain the objective value of UMAP (i.e., the cross-entropy) from the embedding?

Thanks

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the UMAP optimization implementation and determine how the cross-entropy objective relates to an existing embedding; done should provide a documented way to obtain that objective value.
