Description
**CPU model working fine**
python -m fastchat.serve.cli --model-path /path/to/fastchat-t5-3b-v1.0 --device cpu
**GPU models both got errors**
python -m fastchat.serve.cli --model-path /path/to/fastchat-t5-3b-v1.0 --device mps --load-8bit
python -m fastchat.serve.cli --model-path /path/to/fastchat-t5-3b-v1.0 --device mps
So, does fastchat-t5-3b-v1.0 can running on Mac --device mps?

Research direction
Start by reproducing the working CPU command and both failing MPS commands through fastchat.serve.cli with fastchat-t5-3b-v1.0. The issue does not include the GPU error output, so capture those errors first; done would mean establishing whether the model runs with MPS, including the --load-8bit case.
