Description

Hi 👋

I was wondering if there is any ongoing incentives for training a new Vicuna model based on the fully open source OpenLLaMA? This would ultimately remove the requirement on Vicuna license to be a derivative of the Meta LLaMA non-commercial bespoke license?

Regards,

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. First review the FastChat project structure and existing model-training documentation to determine whether OpenLLaMA-based Vicuna training is supported; done would require an agreed training plan and project decision, neither of which is specified here.
