Description

While trying to enable these tests on Linux PR CI (see https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/188522), this test was failing on the Linux bots.

(attached log)

I XFAILed it for now.

Research direction

Start by examining cross-project-tests/Dexter's expect_step_kind/direction.cpp and the attached dexter.log, then reproduce the failure on Linux. Compare the failing behavior with the test's current XFAIL; done means the test passes reliably on Linux and the temporary XFAIL is no longer needed.
