Description
(some) config files are at this repo:
https://github.com/llrs/customizations
It would pull and compare, or add a PR/issue to add/change something.
Maybe move the hooks and r_files to that repository too (or at least keep only one source to update).

Research direction
Compare the configuration files in this repository with the files in https://github.com/llrs/customizations, then inspect the existing hooks and r_files mentioned in the issue. Decide whether to synchronize them, move them, or keep one repository as the source of truth; done means the chosen arrangement is implemented without duplicate sources needing separate updates.
