Description
Right now if convergence stagnates or something goes wrong in one of the steps (e.g. factorization), the program exits.
Instead, we should be able to tell mfem to not just abort on errors (they have a preprocessor macro to change this), but throw an exception that would allow us to continue execution and do something different.
