Description

In [observe.py](https://github.com/llnl/pEyeON/blob/main/src/eyeon/observe.py#L453) there is some code to unpack javaclasses returned from surfactant. It doesn't seem to be working quite right; Grant has still had to unpack them in his sql script.

Research direction

Start in src/eyeon/observe.py around line 453 and inspect how JAVACLASS values returned from surfactant are unpacked. Compare that result with the SQL-script unpacking Grant still performs; done means the Python path produces the correctly unpacked values without requiring that workaround.
