Description
Tags are a great way to categorize software repos and they're already built into GitHub repos. It would be great to be able to filter on "tag:foo" (and, incidentally, "language:C", but that's probably another issue).

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are identified in the issue. Start by locating the GitHub repository import and search entry points, then trace how repository metadata becomes searchable. Done means imported GitHub tags can be filtered with tag:foo; language:C is explicitly out of scope.
