Description
It would be convenient if the resources had a typedef for their event type. I can use decltype but it seems unnecessarily complex. What do you think?

Research direction
No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by locating the resource declarations and their event types in the C++ library, then determine the public typedef convention already used nearby. Done means the resources expose a convenient event-type typedef without requiring decltype.
