Description

The fprettify project -- https://github.com/pseewald/fprettify -- is a python-based formatter/styler for Fortran files.

We can add support for it when the user provides an FPRETTIFY_EXECUTABLE variable to blt.

Projects that use spack for their dependencies can leverage the spack package -- https://github.com/spack/spack/blob/develop/var/spack/repos/builtin/packages/py-fprettify/package.py

Research direction

No BLT file or test is named. Start by locating existing formatter integrations and executable-variable entry points in the repository, then review fprettify's command-line usage and the linked Spack package. Done means BLT can use fprettify when FPRETTIFY_EXECUTABLE is provided.
