Description
Hi,
When we write a restart file with a simulation that uses refinement boxes, the restarted simulation performs regridding operations so we see a divergence between the original simulation and the restarted simulation.
This isn't blocking. When we use tagging for both simulations regridding is the same for both so they remain equivalent.
if you rather this was a comment on #8 I can do that.

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Begin by reproducing a restart with refinement boxes and compare its regridding operations with the original simulation; also compare the tagging case described in the issue. Done means the restarted and original simulations remain equivalent without relying on tagging.
