Description

For some reason the behavior of high res fix has completely changed, it just blasts the image with a bunch of noise now if i use anything but latent for the upscaler model . Inpainting and straight img2img are broken too, nothing but noise. SD 1.5 and XL still function as intended. Tried fresh install, fresh environments, different mix of dependencies, rolling back to old builds.. I'm stumped. Also kind of unrelated but I noticed around the same time that the Flux Realistic sampler is no longer deterministic, pretty much nuking my ability to work on anything I've preciously generated with that sampler. Anyone else?

Research direction

Start by reproducing the Flux failures in high-res fix, inpainting, and straight img2img, comparing non-latent upscalers with SD 1.5 and XL, which reportedly still work. Also verify whether the Flux Realistic sampler remains deterministic; done requires identifying the regression and restoring the affected workflows without breaking the working models.
