TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not iterable
In issue, i noticed the same error 'NoneType' about Higher batch size.
And that error can still generate images,mine just nothing but this.

Research direction
Start with extensions/sd-forge-layerdiffusion/lib_layerdiffusion/models.py, especially estimate_single_pass, estimate_augmented, and the forward path shown in the traceback. Reproduce the SDXL generation using the reported 984×552 settings and Layer Diffusion option, then inspect the tensor shapes at the failing torch.cat call. Done means generation completes without the spatial-size mismatch or the resulting NoneType wrapper error.
