Description

Hi everybody,
I wish to be able to create my AI video work locally and that's why I chose to give a try to the open source models available here.
I admit my current hardware setup is not top- tier (I'm using a 14GB VRAM Windows gaming PC ), but Framepack is supposed to work even with a minimum VRAM of 6GB. Of course I didn't expect the engine to work at its best, I just wish to try animating some pictures I've already taken with my own camera and phone. I've installed Framepack using Pinokio, yet I can't get the GUI to show up, I'm stuck on a shell window eventually displaying a blue screen error, "Torch not compiled with CUDA enabled".
What is it?
Is there something I can do with this model on my machine or do I need to upgrade my hardware configuration first?
Thank you

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. Begin with the Pinokio installation and the reported startup error on the Windows system, then inspect how the application selects its PyTorch/CUDA setup. Done means the GUI starts on the reported hardware or the supported hardware and software requirements are documented with reproducible diagnostics.
