Description
talking for now about the version on pinokio....
why not put a checkbox in the settings to completely turn off the updates?...
so the terminal toggle directly into the web interface....
just as an example...if there is an internet outage framepack becomes completely inoperable....
spinning in a loop in the terminal trying to reach the huggingface server constantly....

Research direction
The issue does not name files or tests. Start by tracing the settings interface and the code that repeatedly contacts the Hugging Face server, then determine how the existing terminal offline toggle is represented. Done means a settings checkbox can enable fully offline operation without repeated connection attempts during an internet outage.
