Description

How to configure 16GB video memory, whether it is set to reserve 16GB or 14GB。No matter how I set it up “GPU Inference Preserved Memory (GB) (larger means slower)”, it assigns me 28.87 GB of video memory

Research direction

Start by reproducing the reported behavior on a 20-series graphics card with 16GB of video memory, comparing the settings for 16GB and 14GB against the reported 28.87GB allocation. Inspect the GPU inference preserved-memory configuration and its runtime reporting. Done means the allocation matches the configured value or the issue clearly documents the supported behavior and limitation.
