Description
Goal: Establish a dedicated protocol engineering team to maintain, secure, and evolve the Livepeer core protocol, ensuring long-term network resilience and the ability to rapidly deliver upgrades and critical fixes.
Requirements: Scope the team, recruit key engineers, and define clear roadmap responsibilities. Align with Livepeer Inc, core contributors, and the Foundation to enable timely upgrades, vulnerability patches, and support for workstream-driven protocol changes. Ensure ongoing coverage for the Immunefi bug bounty program and the capability to deploy urgent patches quickly. Full funding and execution will be handled in a separate proposal.
