Description

There is a setting in m3u8.MediaPlaylist called "winsize", which determines the number of segments displayed when generating the playlist. This is a better way of dealing with playlist size than manually removing segments - which is what we are doing now.

Check player.go.

Research direction

Start in player.go and locate where playlist segments are manually removed before the m3u8.MediaPlaylist is generated. Review how the playlist's winsize setting can control the displayed segment count, then verify that generated playlists are limited correctly without the existing manual removal behavior.
