Description

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
There isn't any unit tests for this repo currently.

Describe the solution you'd like
We should implement unit tests using mocha for EventsController and VideosController.

We should also build in git hooks to the tests are run before new code is committed - similar to livepeerjs

Research direction

Start by locating EventsController and VideosController and review how each currently handles requests. Set up Mocha tests for both controllers, then investigate the linked livepeerjs example for the requested pre-commit test hook. Done means both controllers have unit coverage and tests run automatically before commits.
