Description
We should discuss using [Paratti](https://github.com/Paratii-Video/paratii-player) as the video player instead of the hls.js player right now.
At the least, it should probably be a video.js player so it can handle different video formats.

Research direction
Start by locating the current hls.js player entry point in the repository, then compare its role with the Paratii player and the proposed video.js alternative. The issue does not name files or tests, so define the supported video formats and player-selection requirements before implementation; done means the chosen player handles the required formats without regressions.
