AlleChain is a decentralized streaming platform powered by Livepeer, offering real-time live streaming for independent artists, podcasters, and content creators across Africa. It leverages blockchain for transparent transactions, fair compensation, and fan engagement through NFTs and tokenized support, addressing high fees, unfair payouts, and content restrictions in the entertainment industry.

How is Livepeer used for this project?

Livepeer will power real-time livestreaming for concerts, podcasts, and performances, ensuring seamless, scalable video delivery without relying on centralized services. It will also enable on-demand playback for missed events, providing a smooth experience for both creators and audiences.

How will you improve your project with this grant? What steps will you take to meet this objective?

The grant will help us:
Integrate Livepeer for decentralized video streaming.
Complete wallet and smart contract integration to manage transactions.
Launch an MVP with live concerts and podcasting tools.
Onboard early creators and offer incentives for adoption.
Test and optimize the platform for a seamless launch

Yes, this project was started at the AI Video Hackathon (Livepeer) x Encode Club.

Please describe (in words) your team's relevant experience, and why you think you are the right team to build this project. You can cite your team's prior experience in similar domains, doing similar dev work, individual team members' backgrounds, etc.

We have a strong background in blockchain technology and smart contracts. Since platforms like AlleChain are not currently available in Africa, we are dedicated to providing fair compensation to artists and creators in the region. This unique focus, combined with our skills and commitment, empowers us to effectively develop and maintain a platform tailored to the needs of the African market.

What is the project’s expected deliverable at the conclusion of the grant time period?

A fully functional AlleChain platform featuring live music streaming, podcast hosting, and NFT integration. Deliverables include a tokenized tipping system, onboarding toolkits for artists, content creators, and users, as well as documentation and demo videos showcasing platform usage.

What is the one thing (the core mechanic) you want someone to do when using your deliverable?

We want users to stream live concerts and podcasts, engage with artists and creators in real-time, and support them through NFT purchases and token-based tipping.

How will this deliverable benefit the Livepeer ecosystem?

By demonstrating how Livepeer's decentralized infrastructure enables real-time concerts and podcasts, AlleChain will establish Livepeer as a premier video streaming solution for the music and entertainment industries. This visibility will attract new developers and creators to explore Livepeer's capabilities, fostering a vibrant ecosystem that encourages innovation and collaboration.

How did you learn about the Livepeer Grants Program?

I discovered the Livepeer Grants Program through my wonderful experience with Encode Club while participating in their AI video hackathon. Submitting AlleChain was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our vision. Engaging with such a vibrant community opened my eyes to how Livepeer’s support can truly empower independent creators, and I’m excited about the possibilities ahead!
