## Context
No `PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.md` exists. PR #16 added one with a checklist + "Close Issue(s)" section (matches the body already used on org PRs).
## Proposed tasks
- [ ] Add `.github/PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.md` with:
- Code of Conduct / contribution links
- Checklist: 100% coverage, docs updated, pre-commit ran, tests ran
- Description section
- Close-issue references
Contributor guide
First steps
- Read the whole issue, then the project's contributing guide.
- Comment on the issue to say you are picking it up — it saves two people doing the same work.
- Fork the repository and make your change on a branch.
- Open a pull request that references the issue number.
Research direction
Create `.github/PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.md` using the checklist and sections described in the issue. Confirm the template includes contribution links, coverage and documentation checks, pre-commit and test checks, a description section, and close-issue references.
