Description

Is there a reason for keeping the Google QUIC implementation in the code or could it be already deprecated?

The [documentation](https://lsquic.readthedocs.io/en/latest/internals.html#list-of-common-terms) page says:

> gQUIC Google QUIC. The original lsquic supported only Google QUIC. gQUIC is going to become obsolete. (Hopefully soon).

Research direction

Start with the linked internals documentation and identify where the gQUIC implementation is represented in the C code. Review the existing 14-comment discussion before determining whether support should be deprecated; done requires a documented decision and corresponding project changes.
