Description

the subject pretty much sums it up. oddly enough, i didn't see anything in the debug.log that indicated any issues.

i went to downgrade to a5, and refreshing the litespeed page on admin still showed white screen. i was able to go back to /admin.php to pull up a /network level page, and was then even able to click onto the LiteSpeed network settings. but, oddly enough, it still read as v4.4.4-a6 being installed... but, it's working!

i wish i could report more, but it was a rather interesting experience. i flushed out my caches and object caches before downgrading to a5, but downgraed due to persistent white screen.

Research direction

Start by reproducing a WPMU installation of v4.4.4-a6 and checking the LiteSpeed admin and network pages during the install and downgrade. Compare the behavior with v4.4.4-a5 and inspect debug.log; done means the installation does not lock out /network or leave the admin pages blank.
