Description

For 2 years now, there has been a native functionality in chrome and firefox to lazyload natively in browser instead of js. https://web.dev/browser-level-image-lazy-loading/

Right now it is supported in all modern browsers, except Safari (that still considers it experimental) https://caniuse.com/loading-lazy-attr

So could we get the option to add the lazyload natively, and save on the JS?

Research direction

Start by locating the plugin's image lazy-loading integration and the code that adds or relies on JavaScript for it. Review the linked native browser lazy-loading documentation, then verify that the requested option produces native lazy-loading behavior without the unnecessary JavaScript.
